And be able to show it to others.
The rain and the pain, the clouds and the doubts
Will always be there.
Don't fight them.
Be proud of being weak.
Being proud makes you strong.
Discard all "masks of self-hate".
Loving yourself is unavoidable.
Wait.
Stop whenever you can and admire detail.
See what you can't see because you always rush.
Every street, every garden will always have something new.
Go places.
Be sure to keep memories of such things
Because in doing so you will travel
Every single day of your life.
Once you've failed, you must try again.
You'll feel the need to fail better this time.

Desde pequena que ouvia dizer que não podemos agradar a gregos e a troianos.
Mais tarde descobri que, grande parte das vezes, nem a nós mesmos podemos agradar.
"Decisions make you ugly", já mo tinhas dito, mas só muito mais tarde o senti.
E como o sinto...!
Um texto em jeito de oração vs prece...
"Every street, every garden will always have something new."
Uma das coisas que mais me sustém e poderia suster em quantidades maiores se percebesse não estar sozinha nessa descoberta.
"Decisions make you ugly", não concordo mas, agrada-me, agrada-me bastante a frase... o conjunto... não sei... curioso como algumas coisas nos podem simplesmente agradar, sem justificações, sem nos obrigarem a pensar, agradam e pronto... não nos precisando tornar "ugly".

Todas as as decisões que tomamos nos tornam "feios" perante alguém. Não agradamos a toda a gente. Não ter de agradar é algo muito diferente. Mas não agradar mesmo é factual, e é a essa a essência da frase. Poderia ter dito que as decisões nos tornam bonitos, mas há também algo de belo no outro lado da beleza. Não há?
